Q: Does Dominion Road School have a zone?   

A: All schools in New Zealand have zones: please feel free to speak with one of our office staff regarding zone information.

Q: What age levels does Dominion Road School cater for?
A: Dominion Road School is a primary school and caters for Years 0 to 6 (5 to 10 years).

Q: How soon should I enrol my child?
A: Pre-enrolment at around 4 and a half years of age is appreciated.

Q: How do I enrol my child?
A.  Please refer to our "Enrolment" page.

Q: What happens next?
A.  Once we have received your child's enrolment we will send you a letter advising you of a weekly school visit.  These visits are on Thursday mornings and are from 9.00am - 10.30am.  A parent must stay with their child during these visits.  The visits are to familiarise your child with his / her teacher, classmates and receive an idea of what to expect when they start school.  Your child does not need to wear his / her school uniform during these visits.

Q:  Uniform
A.  Our uniform is available at Postie Plus at St Lukes.  Please refer to our "Uniform" page.  (Please note:  children cannot start at Dominion Road School without a uniform).

Q:  Stationery
A.  Stationery requirements are available on our "Stationery" page.

Q:  What are the School Term Dates?
A.  Please refer to our "Calendar" page for all term dates and public holidays.

Q: What is the school bank account if I want to pay my donation via the internet?
A: Please contact the office for account details.  Remember to put your child's name as reference when depositing.
