Friends of the School

We are a committee made up of dedicated parents and teacher representatives to operate on a level that could be loosely compared to a P.T.A (hence Friends of Dominion Road School)

The purposes of this group are:

To inform parents about our school, what's happening, when and maybe how you can assist!
To support parents involvement in our school.
To provide parents with information regarding current education issues.
To enlist parent support for specific projects.

Friends of the School is not a fundraising group! We may ask for support with fundraising (hence the specific projects part!!) but we do not expect parents to be organising fundraising for us. That's the part that makes this group very different to a P.T.A.

Friends of the School Meetings are held twice per term.
