ABOUT

Dominion Road School is a  central Auckland primary school catering to the learning needs of children from age 5 (Year 0/1) to 11 years (Year 6).  It is located in the suburb of Mount Roskill and be accessed from both Quest Terrace and Dominion Road.

We draw from a rich, multicultural community where whānau celebrate and support their children’s learning.  Dominion Road School recognises the importance of a partnership between home and school. We have an open door policy and encourage parents to engage in their child’s learning journey.

Dominion Road School staff are a team of caring and hardworking professionals who have high expectations of the students’ learning.  Staff are regularly involved in ongoing professional development across the curriculum.

The school has a range of excellent facilities with a heated swimming pool, a large playing field, adventure playgrounds, a school garden, eco trail, hard courts and a covered court space.  Dominion Road School also runs the Garden to Table programme, which introduces students to the lifelong benefits of growing and cooking their own food.

Students at Dominion Road School are provided with many opportunities to participate in a rich and varied curriculum. These include interschool sport, choir, cultural groups, drama, music, te reo, digital innovation and STEM programmes.
