DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

At Dominion Road School, Digital Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum. Students are taught and encouraged to be creative, curious and collaborative when using digital tools. The Digital Technology Curriculum is used to guide learning and exploration of the digital world - this also includes learning about technology using ‘unplugged’ activities.  We do have a range of STEM products that support learning of the progress outcomes of the curriculum.

In our junior school, students have access to iPads that are used as a tool to support and share learning.  From Year three to six, students use chromebooks and have access to iPads for media purposes.  Students are encouraged to bring their own devices - chromebooks are recommended.  Seesaw and Google Classroom are used across the school to access and share learning.
