At Dominion Road School, wellbeing for both staff and students is a priority.
We have a number of programmes and support from external organisations that help ensure our students are happy, healthy and ready for learning.
Breakfast is available at school every day and lunches are donated to the school from Monday to Thursday each week for any students who don't have lunch that day.
We are lucky enough to have a Social Worker in Schools (SWiS), Rachel, who works with us to support students and is often on site.
We also have a School Community Nurse, Nan, who comes in to our school each week.
Below are some of the organisations that support our school and to whom we are very thankful for.
Eat My Lunch
From Monday to Thursday each week we receive free lunches for students who do not have lunch that day. Lunches are made by volunteers and delivered to the school office.
You can support the programme by ordering lunch for yourself, click here to view the menu and how to do so. Every lunch bought provides lunch to a child.
If you are in the city, you can drop by their 'Grab 'n Go' store on Customs Street for your coffee, breakfast or lunch.
KidsCan provides us with food, rain jackets, shoes, personal hygiene supplies and other resources to help support our students.

Fonterra Milk for Schools
Fonterra supplies Anchor Milk cartons for students to drink and enjoy every day. This is a great source of nutrition for our students and often gives them that extra boost in the afternoon.

Kickstart Breakfast provides the school with milk and weetbix so that students who need breakfast can have something to eat before learning begins for the day. Breakfast is available from the office from 8am each day for any students that need it.

Garden to Table
We run a Garden to Table programme at school. To learn more about it, click here to be redirected to our Garden to Table page.
